EVEN IN THE DARK, THE LIGHT WAS THERE
John Land walked away from everything he knew—chasing a truth he couldn’t name.
From the backyards of 1950s suburbia to the chaos of San Francisco’s counterculture, his search for meaning led him through rock and roll, psychedelics, revolution, and deception disguised as freedom. He rode the highs of music and rebellion, only to collide with the broken promises of a generation that believed it could reinvent the world.
But behind every misstep, every near-death experience, was a Presence he couldn’t escape—an unseen Friend who refused to let him go.
Searching for Never, Never Land is a memoir of a restless soul caught between darkness and light, and relentless Love who never stopped pursuing him.
